# Mark Alert Actioned

Use this API to mark an alert as actioned, recording that it has been followed up on.

# Endpoint

`POST https://api.velt.dev/v2/memory/alerts/action`

# Headers

The alert to act on.

#### Mark an alert actioned

# Response

The response confirms the update.

An actioned alert is no longer returned by [List Alerts](https://velt.dev/docs/api-reference/rest-apis/v2/memory/alerts/list.md), and no endpoint restores it to active. An `alertId` that does not exist returns a 500 `INTERNAL` error.
