# List Extracted Rules

Use this API to list the rules extracted from a rule-based knowledge source.

# Endpoint

`POST https://api.velt.dev/v2/memory/knowledge/rules`

# Headers

**x-velt-api-key** `string` *required*

Your API key.

**x-velt-auth-token** `string` *required*

Your [Auth Token](https://velt.dev/docs/security/auth-tokens.md).

# Body

**sourceId** `string` *required*

The knowledge source id returned by Ingest Knowledge.

#### List a source's rules

Each rule includes its `id`, the rule `content`, a `category` (`null` when the rule sits under no section heading), and its `index` in the source.
