# Setup

The V2 sidebar is a fully primitive-based implementation. Import `VeltCommentsSidebarV2` directly to use it.

> [tab] React / Next.js
>
> ```jsx theme={null}
> import {
>   VeltProvider,
>   VeltComments,
>   VeltCommentsSidebarV2,
>   VeltSidebarButton,
>   VeltCommentTool
> } from '@veltdev/react';
>
> export default function App() {
>   return (
>     <VeltProvider apiKey="API_KEY">
>       <VeltComments />
>       <VeltCommentsSidebarV2 />
>       <div className="toolbar">
>         <VeltCommentTool />
>         <VeltSidebarButton />
>       </div>
>     </VeltProvider>
>   );
> }
> ```

> [tab] Other Frameworks
>
> ```html theme={null}
> <velt-comments-sidebar-v2></velt-comments-sidebar-v2>
> ```

For V2 props reference, see [`VeltCommentsSidebarV2Props`](https://velt.dev/docs/api-reference/sdk/models/data-models#veltcommentssidebarv2props).

For V2 wireframe customization, start with the [`Component catalog`](https://velt.dev/docs/ui-customization/reference/component-catalog#sidebar-slot-trees), then use [`Wireframe components`](https://velt.dev/docs/ui-customization/reference/wireframe-components) for the complete slot tree.
